What I do
Most projects need both a clean technical foundation and something people actually experience. I work across both, so you don't have to coordinate two vendors.
End-to-end NPSP administration and development — requirements, builds, training, and data hygiene. Custom Apex and flows, integrations, deduplication, reporting, and full org merges.
WCAG-aware web builds with ARIA, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, and contrast / focus-reading modes — plus assistive fabrication: 3D-printed tactile maps and braille tooling.
Full-cycle video production and motion graphics — from shoot planning to final export. Instructional series, brand pieces, and platform-ready social content.
Interactive prototypes and shipped games in Unity (C#) and Game Maker (GML), plus original music and sound design for media projects.
Selected work
A cross-section of the range — hardware, open-source tooling, and the CRM work that keeps organizations running.
01Hardware · AccessibilityArduino-powered, 3D-printed RFID boxes that pronounce tagged objects in a learner's chosen language. Six built and deployed across PCC classrooms, supporting vocabulary in 19 languages for sighted and visually impaired students alike.
02Open source · BlenderAn open-source Geometry Nodes tool that generates printable braille by boolean-cutting dot indentations into 3D surfaces — no braille literacy required to produce accurate tactile materials. Released on GitHub, itch.io, and Gumroad.
03Salesforce · NonprofitOngoing NPSP administration and development as the primary technical contact — integrations, automation flows, custom objects, and continuous data hygiene, including a full two-org merger with extensive deduplication and testing.
About
I'm Seth Gordon, a Portland-based technologist working across CRM systems, accessibility engineering, and media production. I've built and maintained Salesforce orgs for nonprofits end to end, engineered assistive devices and tactile learning tools for blind and low-vision students at Portland Community College, and shipped video, motion graphics, games, and music.
The throughline is range with follow-through: I'm comfortable gathering requirements, building the solution, training the people who'll use it, and keeping it healthy afterward — whether the deliverable is a clean data model or something on a screen.
